Mechanical Project Engineer
Department
An opportunity has arisen within our Engineering Team for two Mechanical Project Engineers, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. These roles will have the responsibility for: the realisation for the mechanical element of a system; providing Engineering Solutions to particular project issues (Health and Safety or otherwise); mechanical layout and the budget of the supply of mechanical engineering and production activities.
Function

Ensure that the mechanical system design is engineered following the relevant safety standards and CDM regulations (Risk Assessments etc.)

Understand and support mechanical activity split-up and engineering planning

Ensure that a detailed engineered system design can be manufactured within the available budget

Protect the interest of Vanderlande Industries in dealings with customers, suppliers and sub-contractors

Coordination of third party equipment supply and integration

Deliver project related layout packages, using AutoCAD/Villa etc

File and data management
Your profile
-
At least 3 years experience within a Mechanical Engineering environment

Organised and methodical
-
Good technical / mechanical knowledge including use of AutoCAD with product library / Villa

Open communicator

Team player
-
Knowledge of Health and Safety and CDM regulations
