Software Test Engineer
De afdeling
Het Software House is verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen van software voor de besturing van onze transportsystemen en voor het toepassen van deze software in onze projecten. De functionaliteit van de software omvat onder andere implementatie van business logica, aansturing van logistiek transport, communicatie met externe computersystemen, rapportage, data analyse en simulatie.
De functie
De testengineer draagt zorg voor de uitvoering van de testanalyse en de test. Je bedenkt en ontwerpt testcondities en testgevallen op basis van systeemspecificaties en maakt daarbij gebruikt van testspecificatietechnieken. Het testontwerp / testplan vormt de basis voor het testdraaiboek. De testengineer registreert alle bevindingen die betrekking hebben op gevonden afwijkingen tussen het bagage afhandelings systeem en/of het systeemontwerp en/of het testontwerp. De testengineer communiceert en rapporteert daarover aan de betrokkenen.
Jouw achtergrond
In de functie van Test engineer ben je sterk in Probleemanalyse en oordeelsvorming. Je bent accuraat en kan je werkzaamheden goed coordineren en plannen. Daarnaast ben je communicatief vaardig en een goede teamplayer.
- HBO werk- en denkniveau en minimaal 3 jaar relevante werkervaring
- Bekend met Testmanagement tools (Testdirector, QualityCentre, Testmanager)
- Kennis van Requirmentsmanagement tools (DOORS) en Configurationmanagement tools (CM Synergy).
- Vaardig in het gebruik van testmethodieken (o.a. Equivalence partioning, Classification Tree Method en Use Cases)
- Uitstekende kennis van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal

The department
The Software House is responsible for developing control software for our transport systems and for implementing it for all our projects. The software functionality includes business logic implementation, transport logistics control, interfacing with external computer systems, reporting, data analysis and simulation.
The job
The Test Engineer is responsible for making test analyses and conducting tests. He or she develops and designs test conditions and test cases based on system specifications using test specification techniques. The test design/test plan forms the basis for the test procedure specification. The Test Engineer records all findings relating to any deviances found between the baggage handling system and/or the system design and/or the test design. The Test Engineer communicates with and reports to all parties involved.
Your background
As a Test Engineer you are equipped with strong problem analysis and decision-making skills. You have the ability to accurately coordinate and plan your work. In addition, you have excellent communication skills and are a strong team player.
- Qualified to HBO (higher professional education) level with at least three years relevant work experience
- Familiar with test management tools (Test Director, Quality Centre, Test Manager)
- Knowledge of requirements management tools (DOORS and configuration management tools (CM Synergy)
- Skilled in the use of test methodologies, including Equivalence partitioning, Classification Tree Method and Use Cases
- Fluent in English and Dutch
