Installation & Site Management

The Installation & Site Management department consists of a number of enthusiastic site supervisors and site managers with a passion for technology, travel and working with people on site. They have no problem being away from home for a long period of time and they are not afraid to literally get their feet dirty.

For every project, they are responsible for the physical installation on site and for providing support for the commissioning, testing and transfer processes. They also assist in the maintenance work and/or user training and coordinate the daily routine with customers, the customer’s subcontractors and our own subcontractors. Supervisors usually work on their own on small or medium-sized sites or they support site managers on larger projects. They organize their own site from the very start, including the logistics and the installation process, until the moment of transfer to the customer. After delivery, they usually solve any problems that might still be outstanding.

Vanderlande Industries is looking for independent employees with good communications skills and team building abilities who will feel responsible for their site. You enjoy working in different cultures and environments. Before going to the site, you consult with Project Management to help prepare the project installation plan. The customer (or his representative) and his subcontractors are your most important contacts on a site, together with our own Project Management, Engineering, Planning, Quality Assurance, Shipping and Services departments and Vanderlande’s own subcontractors.
