Manufacturing is a production-to-order organization, which takes care of the production of the various parts of the internal transport systems and of transporting them to the customer. Manufacturing is characterized by short delivery times, small series, universal production techniques and flexibility of the workforce with regard to both the number of people and the skills of these people.
The production process consists of sheet metal working, welding, machining, powder coating and assembly using the latest CNC-controlled machines (welding, punching, bending, turning) with ergonomics being an important aspect. Work in component production and the warehouse takes place in two shifts. Assembly constructs and tests the parts of the transport systems, after which the products are packed and sent to the customer in accordance with the planning.
The employees in the Manufacturing department are not only expected to possess workmanship and dedication, but they are also expected to be flexible and to place a high value on quality. Furthermore, they must be able to work independently, display a team spirit and enjoy varied work.
Besides the Production and Shipping departments, Manufacturing also consists of the Warehouse, Production Planning, Spare Parts Coordination and Work Preparation departments. These departments create the correct environment and conditions for the manufacture of products, so that the production facility can function to the best of its ability.
