1.1.Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for design and implementation of new algorithms for high-level control of Vanderlande Autonomous Vehicle systems.
You will work on algorithms for e.g. path planning, deadlock avoidance and automatic vehicle overtaking.
1.2.Your activities
- Design and implementation of AV high-level control algorithms in MATLAB®.
- Code reviews.
- Evaluation of performance of AV algorithms.
- Writing automated tests to verify the model.
1.3.Your profile
- Educational Qualifications (any one of the following):
- A Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Systems or related.
- An Engineering Master's degree in areas related to Control Systems, Autonomous Vehicles, Robotics, Systems Engineering, or related subjects.
- You have at least 3 years professional experience with design and implementation of complex algorithms in C++, C# or MATLAB® (m-scripting)
- You have at least 3 years professional experience with software development using object-oriented programming (OOPS)
- You love to work on challenging, complex problems.
- You have experience with working in an R&D environment.
- High level of comfort with mathematics and numerical methods.
