Key Responsibilities

  • The Sales Manager is responsible for selling  innovative and integrated solution e.g. ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System), Automatic sorting system and AMR/ACR solution etc to WS customers in China Taiwan and Rest of Asian areas.
  • Market monitoring in the assigned markets to develop/identify potential customers for new innovative products of Vanderlande Systems Integration.
  • Capable to identify the decision-makers, consultants and operators/users within the sales process and determination of the influence they have on the sales process
  • Organization, participation in and contribution to marketing-relevant activities, such as exhibitions, WS summit forum, and reference visits etc., to generate contacts and inform potential customers about our products and services and their advantages.
  • Determination and documentation of the project potential and of the system limits as well as development of a concept for possible solutions and presentation of advantages for our customers in collaboration with the Systems Designer/Sales engineering team.
  • Documentation of the customer status in the in-house system to permit the management access to the status of potential customers regarding current chances, quotation price and fixed price offers
  • Execution of the project monitoring process (Bid/ No Bid) to identify whether a project is interesting for us, i.e. decide with the Head of Sales if a specific project is handled
  • Work with the Head of Sales in carrying out a strategic planning to win the project, including resource planning, cost planning, scheduling and function planning
  • Being the interface, during the strategic planning, between the customer and the Head of Sales, ensuring a successful project.
  • Coordinate with related department initiatively such as IT, System design, gather resources and sign the contract successfully. Hand over with realization department and after sale service department.

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in any relevant subject
  • Over 5 years of relevant working experience of developing business in Material Handling system, senior, business acumen and a strong sales spirit
  • High analytical ability and excellent communication, negotiation and relationship/stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to travel, also internationally
  • Willingness to work with team spirit, Ability to work within an international work environment and amongst different cultures
  • Fluent in English with good writing & reading
