Collect information about the bidding process and the DMU and develops the strategy for projects and clients.
Develop profitable relationships in the market.
Deep knowledge of the sector (competitors, market, solutions, clients,…) and Vanderlande (organization, unique selling points, etc.).
Business Development in new sectors and countries, focus in Food and General Merchandise and Fashion markets.
Responsible for making and executing long-term sales.
Anticipates customer needs in order to prepare a proposal that exceeds customer expectations.
Updates and maintains the CRM
Manage presentations and meetings with clients.
Participating in exhibitions and sectorial events.
Your qualifications and skills:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant study (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electro-mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Industrial management, MBA,or similar discipline)
5 years relevant working experience
Strong customer focus
Ability to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously
Ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial international organization, often working across organizational, geographic, and cultural boundaries
Strong analytical ability to structure and solve logistics problems
Good communication skills (internal and external)
Willing to travel internationally (up to 20% of your time)
