Your Responsabilities:
- Collect information about the bidding process and the DMU and develops the strategy for projects and clients.
- Develop profitable relationships in the market.
- Deep knowledge of the sector (competitors, market, solutions, clients,…) and Vanderlande (organization, unique selling points, etc.).
- Business Development in new sectors and countries, focus in Food and General Merchandise and Fashion markets.
- Responsible for making and executing long-term sales.
- Anticipates customer needs in order to prepare a proposal that exceeds customer expectations.
- Updates and maintains the CRM
- Manage presentations and meetings with clients.
- Participating in exhibitions and sectorial events.
Your qualifications and skills:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant study (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electro-mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Industrial management, MBA,or similar discipline)
- 5 years relevant working experience
- Strong customer focus
- Team player
- Creative
- Ability to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial international organization, often working across organizational, geographic, and cultural boundaries
- Strong analytical ability to structure and solve logistics problems
- Good communication skills (internal and external)
- Willing to travel internationally (up to 20% of your time)
