C Software Engineer
Introduction
This software team is working on EmulatePD software consists of 3 people. Under the direction of a Software Architect, you work on new software tools, maintain existing software and expand it with new functionalities. You are responsible for drawing up the design, programming and testing the software. The software runs on its own and is completely developed within Vanderlande. It consists of several processes and dll’s written in C and a graphical user interfaces written in C#.
You are supported in this by experienced colleagues who are ready for you. As a team you are close to the internal customer and provide support.
If you have experience with Allen-Bradley you can help us extend our portfolio by developing the interface for Allen-Bradley PLC’s. Or are you a Virtual Machine hero and VMWare has no more secrets for you, then you'll have an advantage.

What will you be doing?
As a C Software engineer you work on the Vanderlande software package EmulatePD. This software gives Vanderlande engineers a Virtual test environment dedicated for testing the behavior of the PLC or Embedded controller software. It is a geometric simulation of the conveying/sorting system layout and provides the option to test with the remote IO environment of the PLC or Embedded controller. The software is currently used by more than 500 colleagues worldwide. 3 years ago the scope was extended to run this program as part the of the Digital Twin. A Virtual test environment in which the actual site PLC software runs against the simulated system, which includes devices such as Photo Electric Cells, Barcode Scanners or hoist positioning devices, frequency controllers
What do we ask from you?

A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science

A good command of the Dutch and English language

At least 3+ years of C# and/or C experience

Experience developing software on a Windows environment

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4600,- to € 5900,- gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
