Your position.

As the first point of contact in the customer’s control room at an automated warehouse, you’ll help keep communication clear and professional between Vanderlande and the customer’s Operations Teams. • Monitor automated systems in real-time, report anomalies, and keep operations and maintenance teams informed.
  • Work with service teams and remote support to resolve technical issues and maintain system uptime.
  • Log incidents, track performance, and generate reports using customer systems.
  • Provide timely updates to operations teams and support process improvements.
  • Follow safety protocols, support audits, and promote a safety-first culture.
  • Identify issues, coordinate solutions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Foster strong teamwork across service, operations, and support teams.
  • Contribute to initiatives that reduce downtime and boost efficiency.
  • Support and coach backup team members to help them grow.
  • Lead escalations, manage tickets, and coordinate recovery efforts.
  • Align processes with global teams and ensure consistent communication with the client.
  • Maintain daily logs of system activities, breakdowns, and resolutions.
  • Respond to alarms and errors, manage flow disruptions, and follow up with support teams.
  • Stay updated on Vanderlande systems and share knowledge with team members

About you:

  • Hands-on experience in a technical role, ideally in an automated warehouse or similar setting
  • Comfortable monitoring and managing automated systems and equipment
  • Great at troubleshooting and solving technical issues quickly
  • Confident communicator who works well with different teams and stakeholders
  • Familiar with incident management and using ITSM tools to raise and follow up on tickets
  • Previous shift work experience is a plus
  • Qualifications in IT, Engineering, or a related field
  • Skilled in using system monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and other relevant software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
