Your Position
As a Data Engineer you will be exploring and developing solutions within the Quality Assurance & Global Industrialization team. You will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining datasets that can be leveraged in data projects. You will work with experts, engineers and other end users to understand and translate their needs into proposals for data solutions that can improve process performance and be provided as a service. You will explore the feasibility of these solutions and share the learning with the rest of the company and the product team.
Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities:

Create a business case by using large case data.

Use data to perform reporting and direct analysis and transform data into more user friendly formats.

Conduct quality assessments on extensive datasets and present findings in a well-considered manner. For example Omnitracker & Protrack datasets.

Leverage PowerBI, Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and SQL to provide data insights on various Quality Assurance and Supplier performance KPI’s across the organization.

Enhance the utilization of the Jira Dashboard across teams and streams to ensure consistent data reporting.

Collaborate with various stakeholders within the Business Unit Supply, Sourcing and GBSU to comprehend and address data requirements.

Facilitate the use of our Data Platform to serve data to PowerBI

Enable data-driven decision-making by delivering valuable insights and reports.

Maintain the integrity and reliability of our data systems, implementing appropriate security measures and performing regular system checks.

Identify and communicate trends and patterns in the data, helping the organization stay ahead of emerging challenges and opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience:

3-5 years of experience in data & analytics
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or in a similar role.

Understand Supplier, Customer, Design, Maintenance & Operational Quality issues. Knowledge of SCAR, Customer Complaint, 8D & CAPA etc.

Advanced skills in PowerBI, Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and SQL.

Familiarity with data systems such as JIRA

Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modelling, and ETL processes.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience working in a Centre of Excellence or in an Agile development organization would be advantageous.

Knowledge of statistics and quality assurance tools is a plus.
