Based in The Netherlands, you will be part of one of the leading suppliers in automated Warehousing Solutions and the global market leader for value-added logistics process automation at airports and in the parcel market. Choosing this role, you will work in the Test & Deploy Team within our Service organization. This team ensures smooth testing and deployment of new software releases of our Vanderlande developed Material Handling Software at our customer sites in the Warehousing domain.

What will you be doing?
As a Deployment Manager within Service, you will be responsible to manage and execute deployments to test and production environments of our customers. You are the team lead for a group of deployment engineers as well as for other potential deployment managers facilitating their day-to-day work, resolving impediments and develop and maintain the related capabilities of this group. You will work closely together with Test Management as well as with Change Coordination to ensure seamless end-to-end deployments of new software features, bugfixes and variations.
Responsibilities
We are searching an enthusiastic, result-driven Deployment Manager with a hands-on attitude to:
- Setup deployment concepts based on risk-oriented choices in line with Vanderlande CI/CD strategies
- Define, review, and communicate runbooks incl. a step-by-step procedure explaining the deployment
- Actively manage and engage in deployments within production environments including customer management
- Define policies/procedures/requirements for the deployment approach including relevant tooling
- Cooperate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure proper staffing as well as people development
- Manage people scheduling including escalation management and re-setting of work priorities
- Support Service Delivery Management in roll-back decision taking in line with customer agreements

What do we ask from you?
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering
- Understanding and/or knowledge of material handling systems on a total solution level is an advantage
- Working experience as a Deployment Manager, ideally in the logistics/material handling domain
- Knowledge of deployment strategies/methods/risk analysis and relevant tooling
- Experience in working with agile development methods/teams including DevOps, CI/CD ideas
- Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary and highly international project organization
- Advanced verbal and written skills in English, able to communicate within an international team

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4.100 to € 5.200 per month. Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
