Your Department

The UK branch is part of the APS (Airports and Parcel) Northern Europe & Middle East.

Working within the APS UK Project Execution department our Information Management team supports all Vanderlande UK airport projects’ delivery by managing and controlling documents within the Vanderlande document management systems and coordinating documents delivery in customers’ databases and document control systems, including records handover. Additionally, Asset Integration forms an integral part of the airports’ handover process. It involves identification of systems, subsystems and components being delivered, translating these to the client’s ‘common language’, registering them in their asset database, labelling, and ensuring their operability and maintainability.

Your role:

The role requires a specific technical and administrative skillset, including knowledge of Vanderlande product, customer Information (documentation and asset) Management processes, tooling, understanding the connection between physical assets and technical documentation, operation and maintenance requirements.

You work closely with Project Managers and Engineering Project Leaders in the Project Execution Department. You also cooperate with Engineering, Planning, Commercial and Integration Management groups.

  • Providing support to project teams in generating and updating documents, utilising agreed templates and processes
  • Managing document release processes to client databases, including subcontractors and suppliers' documentation
  • Ensuring appropriate document review and approval signatures are obtained by document owners, maintaining the audit trail
  • Managing the asset integration process in client’s databases and generating relevant deliverables
  • Liaising with the client’s asset integration team to ensure smooth asset and document handover
  • Ensuring compliance with Vanderlande and client information and asset integration requirements as well as all contractual, legal and statutory regulations

Your qualifications & skills

  • Previous experience in information management / document control and technical asset integration related activities is essential
  • A Bachelor's degree (or working towards) in Business, Administration, Engineering or a related field is desirable
  • Familiarity with standard electronic information management tooling and systems such as Aconex, ACC, Asite or similar is desirable.
  • Logical and systematic, IT literate, working with formulas and specifications, with strong attention to detail
  • Technical and analytical skills, able to engage in discussion with multiple stakeholder groups and problem solving
  • Able to accurately and clearly process information provided and maintain high standards
  • Organised, thorough, and methodical, enjoying challenging situations, with the persistence to see a job through to conclusion
