Position Title: East Coast and Mexico Regional Service Manager
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Summary of Duties: Support the Airports-Parcel Sales team and Regional Service Operations organization to be the technical liaison for both projects and services. Possess strong knowledge and experience in the full cycle of the Vanderlande business model, from sales, to project delivery, to operations and maintenance. Sell and support existing and new O&M operations and Airport and Parcel sites, leveraging the detailed knowledge of CBIS, ASL, and Parcel products and system integrations. Show customers the complete costs of products and solutions throughout the lifecycle of a project/service contract. These models include alternative financing vehicles, total cost of ownership, and anticipated CAPEX and OPEX spend. Lead internal, cross departmental teams to problem solve the unique and complex challenges that arise from account management at Airport-Parcel projects and services within Vanderlande. Develop and implement Account Management strategies to support and sustain client relationships. Design and present system improvements in project and service execution that can enhance the quality and performance and/or reduce costs or risks. Sales and execution of Vanderlande Service offerings including Field Services, IT Services, and Spare Parts Webshop. Liaison between customers and Vanderlande’s North American, and worldwide Controls Support Help desk. Coordinate sales material, pricing strategy and proposal content.
Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, finance, or a related field of study and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Position also requires demonstrated experience with the following: PLC Architecture knowledge and experience selling and supporting HMI/SCADA software; parcel sortation equipment and controls sales and integration; airport sortation/screening equipment and controls sales and integration; TSA PGDS (Planning Guidelines and Design Standards) and its implementation at airport CBIS (Checked Baggage Inspection Systems) project and service sites; passenger Automated Screening Lanes (ASL) with attention to the differences in X-Ray vs. CT (Computed Tomography) scanning methodologies; ICS (In Carrier Screening) airport conveyor technology; parcel sortation product offerings and selling and supporting these products through a complete lifecycle; O&M (Operations and Maintenance) selling points, including basic staffing levels, KPI (Key Performance Indicators), and minimum response times; working with cross-functional project/service teams; making presentations to senior-level stakeholders; negotiating complex contracts with domestic and international airport and parcel customers; developing pricing strategies; developing technical proposals and written content to accurately depict the scope and breadth of technical offerings; developing financial models. Requires 40-60% domestic and international travel.
