As Vanderlande is growing rapidly, we are looking for a candidate who will be a key player within the Business Finance organization FP&A team.

Your Position

In this role you will be part of the corporate FP&A team which supports the Executive Leadership with management information and overall business analyses. In order to do so, the team leads the monthly and annual (budget) forecasting cycles, gives guidelines to local business controllers and clarifies the different business impacts in actual and forecast.

Within the team we are actively looking for our future Senior Finance Manager within corporate FP&A who will report into the Director FP&A. You will drive corporate management reporting & financial planning/forecasting activities and analyze business performance to actively contribute to our management board decision-making process.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Your scope for this position will cover:

  • You will be the expert on all items related to financial performance, forecasting and budgeting and, together with the FP&A team, you will take the lead in securing clear processes and timelines.

  • In close partnership with the BU Controlling functions, you own forecasting and budgeting topics.

  • Ensure accuracy of forecast at group level for all BU’s and enabling functions.

  • Partner with Group Finance in the actuals review process and getting the BU business insights to ensure proper analysis and creating insights in performance and trend-lines.

  • Ensure high quality, structured monthly forecast, LTP and budget processes.

  • Own the preparation of the regular management reviews meetings, including management and supervisory board meetings.

  • Coaching the FP&A team members (located in Veghel and Pune) to support their development

  • Actively and proactively participates in a variety of finance initiatives and projects, in particular supports Vanderlande’s Finance transformation journey.

Your Profile

For this position, we ask that you bring:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, a Master degree is preferred

  • >8 years of relevant Finance experience.

  • The ability to manage senior stakeholders and have conversations and presentations with C-level executives.

  • People management experience is strongly preferred.

  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills across the entire Finance function and with the relevant business stakeholders.

  • Proactive and autonomous nature, able to drive multiple projects simultaneously, and know when to escalate issues or ask for support.

  • Highly organized and with an eye for details, with a demonstrated ability to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.

  • An excellent command of the English language (both verbal and written).

  • Knowledge of / affinity with supporting planning and/or business intelligence technologies like PowerBI is preferred.
