Your responsibilities
In Research and Development (R&D), no two days are the same. Our activities are based all over the world and each project is different. Every one of our talented R&D specialists is committed to solving the next challenge, and enhancing Vanderlande’s competitive position. You and your colleague groupleader are managing the R&D Project Execution team. This team is responsible for leading the project leader and project managers in our Veghel team. This includes the development of the competence.
As Group Leader Project Execution you manage a passionate team of Project Managers and Project Leaders in different areas. You will lead this group as line manager to efficiently and successfully execute projects for product development. You will work closely together with peer group leaders to ensure the right people and competences are available for the right projects. You will build relations with our international R&D locations and external suppliers and will actively support our R&D projects in co-development and outsourcing of non-core activities. Besides that you support in building the maturity of the competence itself on a global scale.
Key result areas of the Group Leader Project Execution are:

Manage the team in order to efficiently execute projects within the triple constraint (Time/cost/scope) to realize the development programmes for our customers

Your qualifications and skills

You are an experienced, enthusiastic and people minded group leader and you meet the following requirements:

Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant subject

Working experience (min. 5 years) in a technical environment
-
Experience in building teams of technical professionals, typically in a development environment.

Passion for technology in the industrial domain.

People management skills
-
Good listener
-
Drive to win, result and goal oriented with a hands-on mentality
-
Both oral and written English (other languages would be advantageous).
