Your responsibilities
In this role, your will be responsible for two main focus areas:

You will act as a true business partner in supporting strategic objectives. You will validate and evaluate strategic programs and their related processes. Based on your findings you will use your insights to further improve.

On the topic of Internal Audit & Internal Control you will be a subject matter expert within the global Vanderlande organization.
Continuous Improvement

You will take the role of trusted and credible business partner by providing valuable feedback to the different parts of the organization based on audits performed.

Furthermore, you play a key role in the risk assessment process by suggesting and performing risk based audits to improve the overall control environment and contribute to sustainable growth of Vanderlande.
Your qualifications and skills
If you’re an experienced, enthusiastic and reliable Head of Internal Audit & Control, you will excel at:

Translating risks (strategic, tactical and operational) into an audit plan

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building relationships and influencing at all levels of the organization.

You should bring to the table:

A Master degree in a relevant field of study

10-15 years of (external) audit experience

CPA accreditation or equivalent level of working experience

Your team
In the role of Head of Internal Audit & Internal Control, you have a double reporting line to guarantee your professional integrity and independence. To this end, you report into the Risk Committee / Audit Committee, and are administratively reporting into the Executive Director Group Finance & Accounting.
You manage the Internal Audit & Internal Control team, which currently has 3 team members and manages internal control (including J-Sox) and audits. Your key customers are Toyota Industries Cooperation (TICO), the Audit Committee, Risk Committee, the CEO and CFO.
