We are seeking a HR Business Partner who is ready to take the next step in her/his career and will thrive in a fast moving, high growth and technical environment . This person will have knowledge in all aspects of human resources including organizational and talent development and training. You will be located at the Atlanta Headquarters and report to the VP of Human Resources North America.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Day to day responsibilities include participation in interviews and selection, on-boarding of new employees, training and development, performance management, and policy administration.
• Provide performance management guidance to managers (coaching, counseling, career development).
• Provides input and guidance on restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Identify training needs and set up training and development programs for employees and management.
• Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and retention.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day to day management of employees, reduce legal risks, and ensure regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.
• Provide advice/counsel to management on various provincial/federal regulations, corporate policies and procedures in regard to employee related matters.
• Identify training needs and set up training and development programs for employees and management.

• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective and objective investigations.
• Administer various human resources plans and procedures; assist in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; maintain employee handbook and policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate hand-off of relevant information and documents among HR, payroll, operations, and staff.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 4 years of experience in an HR Business Partner/Generalist role

• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including employee development, instructional design and learning strategies, employee relations, performance management and employment laws
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 15%

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Psychology.

• 3 years of experience in Organizational & Talent Development
• PHR or SPHR Certification
• International experience within a relevant industry (Construction, Engineering or Manufacturing)

• A professional demeanor, diplomacy and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Exceptional interpersonal, conflict management, written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work with a variety of personalities and cultures.
