YOUR MISSION:
As Integration Engineer you’ll be responsible for translating the customer requirements into a carefully designed system with the lowest possible risks. You’ll make sure that the system is handed-over according to specification by your colleagues and suppliers. During the design process you’ll support the Project Manager and Project Leader in resolving technical and system-related issues.
Other responsibilities include:
› You’ll lead the test phase and ensure a smooth, seamless transition to our customers’ operational processes.
› Advising on the use of standard solutions and the impact of special solutions
› Ensuring that all project and customer requirements are met
› Developing the integration plan, the test specifications and the test plans
› Progress monitoring with clear, concise reporting
› Managing component deliveries by suppliers by means of verification and validation
› Integrating (sub-)systems in existing customer systems
› Identifying risks and finding solutions to reduce them
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
› You have a relevant bachelor’s degree, e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
› Preferably you’re familiar with customer processes in the Warehouse Automation, Parcel & Postal and/or Baggage Handling industries
› You’re an experienced system integrator, and you’re familiar with system assurance system (requirement management, testing and validation, change management and configuration management)
› You have well-developed analytical skills, and you think at system level
› Good command of the English and German language
› You’re willing to travel, and to spend 25% to 50% of your time working on-site in the project handover phase
