Description of assignment
In order to ensure traveler satisfaction for Vanderlande, it is crucial to adapt to the significant changes in travel that have occurred in the post-Covid era. The first step is to conduct an investigation to determine the key priorities for travelers today. Is it their health, wellbeing, or perhaps something else entirely?
To enhance the travel experience, Vanderlande can focus on providing specific education, instructions, pre-information, and relevant documents to make travel easier and more convenient for employees. Understanding these needs is essential in identifying the appropriate changes and efficiency measures that can be implemented within the Global Travel team.
Description of department
Global Travel is a department that operates as part of the Center of Expertise within the HR division, consisting of a team of four individuals with whom you will closely collaborate, whether it be in the office or remotely from home. In this role, you will actively participate in negotiating contracts with airlines, hotels, and car rental companies, working closely with the sourcing team to ensure favorable terms and conditions. Additionally, your responsibilities will include assisting with family bookings and preparing relevant reports to track and analyze travel-related data. As a team, we are always vigilant in identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies in our systems and processes, continuously seeking ways to optimize our travel operations.

- Investigate current tools used at Vanderlande
- Make suggestions on how to increase traveler satisfaction
- Prepare training and documentation or short video’s

- Knowledge of the travel landscape and supplier dynamics
- Good communication skills
- Customer and results-oriented mindset
- Effective planning and organizational skills with a structured and accurate working approach
- Proficient in spoken and written English
