The Vanderlande network team wants to be in control of the state of our campus network. An important part of this is improving our monitoring (and alerting). We want to investigate the possibilities of using user-experience driven monitoring and analytics to provide a better status overview, and therefore better control, of the network. As part of this investigation, you must determine the requirements/wishes, possible solutions based on industry standards and come up with a proposed improvement plan to implement. Depending on the available time and possibilities, a Proof of Concept can also be part of the assignment.
Within Vanderlande we use a combination of HPE/Aruba equipment for the campus network.
The assignment takes place within the Workplace Services team that is part of the Operations & Core Systems department. This team is responsible for the ICT services related to the workplace, such as Campus network (LAN/WiFi), Workplace installations, Printing, Automation and more.
