Description of the assignment
Roll up your sleeves and bring your enthusiasm into the team of the Project BEST (Building Excellent Services and Technology) within Vanderlande HR organization!
To be able to act faster and respond adaptively to rapidly changing customers ‘demand Vanderlande operating model is divided into building blocks of a business function – business capabilities. These capabilities help define clear improvement project scope and provide clarities and accountabilities in our operating model.
In HR we have defined 10 capabilities and you will be participating in the next phases of the Project BEST, for 3 of these:
- Welcoming People (Pre/Onboarding)
- People Leaving (Separation/Offboarding)
- Learning
You will make sure that Knowledge Management articles, guidelines, policies, etc. for Welcoming People and People Leaving HR capabilities are delivered on time and to a required standard.
Depending on the assignment duration you might also be involved in preparations and workshop for technology enablement.
Description of department
You will be working from the Center of Expertise Talent & Learning within a corporate HR, supporting a sub-capability owner, interacting with a broad type of roles such as SMEs, HR advisors, Service Excellence Experts, and others.
Responsibilities
- Discover -> determine the need for the KM element, work in a team to research (internal/external).
- Create and align – > Where assigned – write draft document(s) and align the content with the stakeholders to pass through approval (on quality and content)
A. Support a (sub)capability owner in project management activities, workshops and other types of sessions.
B. You are full of ideas, and you don’t shy away from bringing them on the table.
Skills
- Background / Interest in Knowledge Management
- Able to work individually on assigned tasks but also in a team dynamic
- Able to share feedback based on observations and suggest improvements.
- Excellent English language skills (writing)
- Some experience working in project – organizing, preparing, consolidating, etc.
