Your Position:
As the Inventory Controller in our advanced Automated Case Picking facility, you'll be essential in managing the logistics of spare and consumable parts within the service contract. Your main focus will be on the daily operations of our automated warehouse, ensuring parts are stored, organized, and retrieved efficiently. You'll be responsible for accurately tracking inventory and making sure parts are readily available for quick dispatch. This role emphasizes smooth process execution, overseeing inventory flow, and ensuring our automated systems run efficiently to meet immediate service needs.
Your Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day spare parts inventory operations, including stock verification, auditing, and reconciliation.

Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and address immediate inventory issues.

Ensure physical stock matches recorded inventory levels through regular audits and reconciliation processes.

Keep inventory data up to date, tracking stock levels, orders, and deliveries accurately. Perform regular audits to resolve discrepancies.

Analyse trends and historical data to predict future inventory needs. Collaborate with maintenance, spare parts teams, and suppliers to anticipate demand changes and adjust inventory levels.

Work with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams to manage inventory levels and ensure smooth operations. Communicate inventory needs and issues effectively.

Develop and enforce inventory control policies and procedures to minimize losses. Train staff on best practices and continuously improve inventory processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Monitor and control consumable item usage, ensuring efficient use and timely replenishment. Track consumption rates, forecast needs, and coordinate with departments to maintain stock levels.

Oversee accurate booking of parts and materials, ensuring proper recording in the inventory system and organized storage. Verify deliveries, update records, and organize storage areas for easy access.
About You
This role is perfect for highly organised, detail-oriented individuals who excel at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) and other inventory management software.

Proven experience in inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution processes.

Experience conducting inventory audits and reconciling discrepancies.

Your attention to detail helps maintain accurate inventory records and resolve any issues promptly.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various departments and stakeholders.

Experience working in an automated facility is preferable.
