IT Specialist Installations
The Business Information Systems (BIS) department is responsible for the information applications. The team consists of 22 specialists, responsible for managing, controlling, developing and maintaining the Vanderlande core business applications and interfaces. Also second line call handling is managed by the department.
Since Vanderlande is rapidly growing and more focus is needed on the Installations related tooling, the department is looking for additional support in the role of IT Specialist Installations.
You are responsible for the correct functioning for the Installations related tooling, especially the tooling used to create Installation files. Currently the tooling is build with Visual Basic (excel) plugins and integrates with Sharepoint and Straitweb (Enovia). You will investigate root causes of problems, define solutions but also participate in improvement projects. The goal will always be to keep the system stable and reliable, but always meet the business requirements in a responsible way.
In this role you will handle calls and decide, together with colleagues, how to solve the incident. Also incident analyses will be part of the job. Participation in improvement projects will be requested.
The aim is not only to maintain, change and develop the installations tooling, but also to define a route to migrate the tooling to a more solid place in our application landscape.
You work closely together with business, but also with IT colleagues supporting HSE, Planning, Time Entry and Pro-Track tooling.
In this role you have analytical skills. You like working with IT systems and are eager to learn more about the Vanderlande IT applications. Solving IT related problems and investigating root causes is something you like to do. You work in a structured way and always try to understand the Vanderlande Business and the way our tooling support their needs. You are always eager to learn from other disciplines.
You have good communicative skills and are able to communicate effectively with business and IT colleagues.
Visual Basic programming skills are required.
English and Dutch are both mastered in spoken and written language.
Several years of working experience as key user for key applications is a pre.
