IT Specialist E-Commerce Platform

Adapting to this changing environment, Vanderlande runs several programs. These programs touch our core tools: ERP systems, surrounding applications and integrations. Within this role, based within IT, you advise, configure and implement changes in our core tools following business roadmap programs. You work together with business, IT specialists, IT architects and implementation partners.
The role
As IT Specialist E-Commerce Platform you work closely together with the Global Spare Parts team and our e-commerce implementation partner to further develop the spare parts web shop. The web shop uses the Intershop E-commerce platform and is configured and customized to our needs by our implementation partner. You are responsible for solution design and implementation of changes to the e-commerce platform and the integrations with our ERP application, Service Asset Management application and PLM application.
The webshop is used by our customers (B2B) to order spare parts for their systems. The current focus for Webshop development is improving the end-to-end user-friendliness as well as integration with other systems: both customer sourcing/-ERP applications as well as Vanderlande applications.
Your primary tasks:

Translation of business requirements into functional IT requirements

Alignment with IT counterparts on integration topics

Analysis of technical-/ integration issues

Support implementation of (pilot) solutions in our business

Steering the implementation partner
Your team
You will work in the team ‘Business Applications’, with global responsibility for continuously developing the Vanderlande business application landscape. The team consists of 10 employees together managing the core business applications for Service, HR, Installation, Project Planning and other areas. We are part of the department Business Information Systems with a team managing the ERP application and a team responsible for operational support of the applications.
Profile

Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent

A minimum of 3 years work experience in IT

You enjoy troubleshooting technical issues and have experience in analyzing complex issues

You are a team player and enjoy realizing new functionality in teams

You like working on several (sub) projects simultaneously

Quality of work is something you see as key

Experience in e-commerce and/or knowledge of the Intershop platform is a pre

You are fluent in English (both spoken and written), being fluent in Dutch is a pre
