Your Department :

The Global Spare Parts Department is part of the Business Unit Supply. The Global Spare Parts team is end-to-end responsible for the spare parts activities for Vanderlande’s Customer Centers (CC’s) and their customers. Global Spare Parts is organized in three departments.

Global Spare Parts:

  • Spare Parts Marketing: manages the spare parts product portfolio to improve the parts value proposition to the Vanderlande CC’s and Customers. The activities include Product Life Cycle management with a strong focus on digitalization and B2B E-Commerce. The team manages the global pricing, product content and builds a strong relation with in- and external stakeholders.

  • Spare Parts Sales Solution: supports the global customer base with spare parts offerings throughout the life-time of the material handling assets. This includes the development of initial spare parts packages and day to day technical and commercial spare parts support. The department advises customers to optimize the on-site stock availability.

  • Spare Parts Logistics: manages the central parts warehouse and is responsible for all in- and outbound warehouse activities. They manage stock-levels, lead-times and on-time shipment and delivery of parts from suppliers and deliveries to the global Vanderlande customer base.

Spare Parts is an essential part of the Service Proposition and contributes significantly to the company's operating results.

Your position

As Product Manager you are the first contact to the Global Spare Parts Sales Organization. You support the Global CC’s with technical and commercial information related to our Spare Parts Portfolio. Within the team of Product Managers you will play a key role to further develop the Spare parts value proposition.

Your main activities will be:

You maintain daily contact and act as linking pin with the Global CC’s and other departments such as R&D, Logistical Support, Quality and Masterdata

You support the Global CC’s with answers to their technical and commercial questions

In collaboration with your colleague Product Managers you will further develop the Spare Parts value Proposition with market leading concepts and assuring their implementation.

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree in a Technical and/or commercial education (Preferably Industrial Engineering or Operations Management and Logistics)

  • You have a drive to win by being results orientated, creative and stress resistant

  • You possess good analytical skills and know how to effectively deploy these

  • You are able to plan and organize multiple questions and activities at the same time

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office, particular in Excel

  • Knowledge of JD Edwards or other ERP is an advantage

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4.200,–  to €5.200,–  per month. Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
