What will you be doing?
As (Junior) Service Contract Manager you will be responsible for managing multiple customer service contracts in our parcel market segment. To ensure that our customers can improve their competitive positions, you play a vital role as a key sparring partner. This includes overseeing contract implementation, daily operations management, and actively support on site incidents to drive effective problem resolution.
Your skill set is key in translating client needs into compelling propositions, identifying fresh opportunities, and serving as the customer's internal representative. Collaborating with various team members, you will develop tactical plans and ensure a seamless transition from project to service phase. Cost-effective coordination and monitoring of service suppliers and designing contract management processes and implementation of these processes are also essential aspects of your role.

Responsibilities

Implementing, managing, negotiating, analysing and optimising service contracts;

Translate problems into changes and manage the lifecycle of the solution;

Identify and generate new opportunities based on the full scope of our service products at our current customer base;

Being responsible for an operational tactical plan for your customers and its implementation, together with various team members;

Setting up and discuss with our customer the investment cycle using a life-cycle plan tailored to the customer's business and their future needs;

Ensuring a seamless transition from project phase to the service organisation by ensuring operational readiness;

Leading efforts to maximize customer satisfaction;

Serving as a key member of the sales team, responsible for preparing and creating service contracts, including cost control for managed contracts.
What do we ask from you?
As (Junior) Service Contract Manager you will be in frequent contact with both internal and external customers building up long-term relationships. Effective communication is at the heart of your responsibilities, ensuring a clear understanding of client needs and the inner workings of Vanderlande’s operations. Your strong negotiation skills will come into play as you champion the best interest of our customers, convincing others to align with our mission.

You have a Bachelor degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or equivalent. We are open to junior profile as well as candidates with a few years of relevant working experience (preferably in a life cycle services and/or logistics and/or technical working environment);

Experience in life cycle services is a pre;

Ability of profound contract understanding is a pre;

Hands-on mentality; not afraid to take content deep-dive with a continuous improvement DNA;

Good command of English and Dutch

Willing to travel within the Benelux (30%).
