The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in managing all office activities, supporting management and team members, and ensuring the smooth operation of all office functions. This role involves overseeing both the main and site offices, with a split schedule of 2 days in the site office and 3 days in the main office.
- Organize the general operations of the office and ensure that the system runs smoothly.
- Act as a liaison between the baggage handling system team, airport staff, and external partners, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Assist in scheduling maintenance activities, system checks, and repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to airport operations.
- Accurately enter data into relevant systems and databases, keeping records up-to-date.
- Provide administrative support to the technicians and maintenance teams, including tracking work orders and service requests.
- Assist in coordinating with vendors and service providers for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or degree preferred.
- Prior experience in administrative roles, preferably in an airport or logistics environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
