Your role
As Project Leader Supply Chain and representative of the Supply Chain Department you will be responsible for the complete life-cycle of a product range. Within a Module Team (previously called Product Team) you will be involved in the (new) development of a module from pilot to end-of-life, including in their updates and phase-out.
You will be part of the Global Supply Chain Development department and report to the Group Leader Supply Chain Project Lead.
Your tasks and responsibilities
As a Project Leader Supply Chain you will join one or more Module Teams. In this team you will be a mature partner for R&D, Engineering, Service and Sales, and will lead the QLTC partners in BU Supply: Quality, Logistics, Technology (Manufacturing) and Cost (Sourcing). This will result in different tasks and responsibilities:

Represent the Supply Chain department in the Module Team structure of R&D

Lead the QLTC team for the introduction of New Products: from project scope in the R&D program and QLTCplanning, to planning and status updates, meanwhile signaling discrepancies in the R&D planning and providinga solution or escalation.

Organize and participate in the Life Cycle Management meetings within the Module Team

Ensure choice of best quality and lowest cost Production Technology, Suppliers and Components to be in linewith relevant Sourcing strategy

Guide Functional Module and Pilot project phases from strategy, planning and quality perspective

Define and execute improvements in the process and tooling within the Module- and QLTC Team
The Global Supply Chain Development department is a fast growing department, where global process improvements and work alignment is daily business. This requires flexibility but also gives excellent opportunities to contribute in setting the future standard way of working.
You identify, initiate and implement changes for successful delivery of (newly) developed Modules or Products and work with the team on improvements thereof.
Your profile
For this position, we require:

A Bachelor degree or Master Degree in a technical field of study (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering)

Experience in NPI is a plus
