What will you be doing?
As Project Leader Supply Chain you are early involved in our new product developments and improvements. You are part of a multidisciplinary Project team where Commerce, Technology, Engineering, Service and other departments are represented. Together you manage a new product development and make sure it meets the requirements.
During the projects you will lead a multidisciplinary supply chain team, consisting of Quality, Logistics, Sourcing and Costs Engineering, and align with the development and maintain organization (R&D). You ensure supply is represented in key decisions on core / non-core and make-buy, and safeguard that the equipment is setup in our supply chain in line with reliability, flexibility and competitiveness requirements. Any discrepancies are communicated within the project team and with the Product manager Supply who is responsible for the relevant product group.
The Global Supply Chain Development department has grown rapidly in the past couple of years. We are an energetic group of people who collaborate a lot with other teams, in order to enable a reliable, flexible and competitive supply of Vanderlande’s equipment to the projects, together! Responsibilities

Leading product developments from Supply Chain perspective during different stages of the product life cycle introduction, modification, reallocation, phase-out

Lead the multidisciplinary Supply Chain teams during the project execution

Supply Chain representative in the project team

Challenge R&D on design

Ensure choice of best quality and lowest cost Production Technology, Suppliers and Components to be in line with relevant Sourcing strategy

Define and execute improvements in the process and tooling within the Development and QLTC Team
About the team
The Global Supply Chain organization in Vanderlande is responsible to supply all the goods and services we need to execute our 270+ concurrent projects. For this, we work closely together with our internal stakeholders to meet business demands while leveraging synergies over the more than 1 Bln Euro spend we have with 7000+ suppliers. The GSC Development department is responsible for the Global Network Strategy, SC introduction and -Life Cycle coordination of new VI equipment, pricing of the goods and services delivered by SC and process(improvement) and tooling (development) used by the Global SC organization.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4600,- to € 5900,- gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
