Your position
As a Project Manager Continuous Improvement (CI) your key objective is to define and manage projects for key Finance improvement initiatives. Current focus is to define and deliver the strategic Future Finance roadmap, a multi-year program to improve the value of Finance throughout Vanderlande. In this challenging role, you will be part of our Finance Continuous Improvement organization.
Your responsibilities
Your tasks will range from organizing workshops to solving detailed issues in project execution. Your two main responsibilities lie in the support of Finance project owners:

Translation of improvement ideas into future business design, including facilitating exploration and design workshops and working with external partners to leverage outside-in expert views.

Definition and execution of projects. Among others you will cover scope definition, staffing, planning & reporting, budgeting, KPI definition, monitoring and reporting, and risk assessment and mitigation. Defining project approaches, stakeholder management, managing change impact and value realization tracking are important parts of this activity.
Your profile
For you to be successful in this role, we ask you to bring to the table:

Bachelor / Master degree in Finance or a related field.

Preferably a Project Management certification.
-
5+ years’ experience in managing Finance improvement projects, transformation assignments from design to execution (preferably in a top-tier Finance consulting firm).

Proven track record in leading and executing multidisciplinary projects in an international environment.

Proven results in ways of working, either through transformation projects or through day-to-day frontline operational experience.

Effective change agent skills, a flexible change approach based on circumstances.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Also, you can coordinate and facilitate international projects with respect for local cultures.

Ability to independently scope, plan, manage, execute and control your work.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (including both structured and effective English written and verbal communication)

Willingness to travel up to approx. 10% of your time.
