Mechanical Product Support Engineer
Location: Based in Barcelona with regular international travel

About the Role:
As a worldwide market leader in airport logistics, we design and deliver cutting-edge material handling systems that power the world’s busiest hubs. We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D Product Support team. In this role, you will ensure the successful translation of mechanical concepts into operational excellence on-site, playing a critical role in the transition from design to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support during equipment installations, upgrades, and field trials
- Translate R&D mechanical designs into actionable assembly, installation, and service procedures
- Identify and resolve mechanical integration issues across manufacturing and field applications
- Serve as a key liaison between design, factory, and service teams during project rollouts
- Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions in coordination with development
- Provide feedback to R&D based on field performance, user behavior, and manufacturing observations
Requirements:
- BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 6–10 years of experience in machine design, field support, or production engineering
- Strong 3D CAD skills (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo)
- Proven experience working on complex mechanical assemblies
- Willingness to travel internationally (~10%)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
