As a Sales Consultant, you are responsible for the system design of the baggage handling system design during the project pre-contract phase to ensure a successful project sale. You will be working closely with our specialist (such as Layout-, Simulation-, and Process Engineers) and with our commercial team (including the Sales Manager and the Sales Engineer). As part of the dynamic and multidisciplinary sales team, your goal is to identify and analyze the customers’ needs and transfer those into a successful sales concept.

During the sales stage, you will be responsible for the design and to provide solutions for complex technical and business issues based on data and process analyses. You will engage with the customer to really understand their business challenge. Based on this, you are able to create a competitive high-quality solution and convince the customer and our management to select our concept.

Your department

You will be working in CC APS EMEA LATAM. The department you will be working in focusses on the development of the Airport segment in the EMEA LATAM region (Europe, Middle East and Africa and Latin America) which contains several Key Accounts in both market segments. Furthermore, your department supports other Customer Centers globally on the disciplines Sales Layout Engineering, Sales Engineering and Sales Consultancy. To support our current growth plans, we are looking for a Sales Consultant to strengthen our team.

Your profile

  • A master’s degree in a technical field, with a strong preference for experience in a business to business environment

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create concept solutions based on your analysis and understanding of the customer’s logistic processes

  • Ability to maintain a helicopter view

  • Well-developed influencing skills and leadership skills to guide both specialist and management to the winning system design

  • Strong communicational skills with wide range of profiles (from specialist to CEO)

  • Experience in working within an international professional environment, preferably a project organization

  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written. Professional proficiency in a second language is a plus.

This position offers a competitive salary range of €4.650,00 to €5.500,00 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
