Join our dynamic team at Vanderlande as a Sales Director, where you'll spearhead our collaboration with one of our key partners a global ecommerce giant 

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of driving business opportunities and ensuring our commitments to our key partner are consistently met, anywhere in the world. Your primary focus will be on their global parcel operations, including Sort Centers, Air network, and Last mile delivery . As part of our Global Operations team based in Veghel, you'll report directly to the VP of Sales. 

 

Your Responsibilities: 

 

Manage sales bids exceeding EUR 100 million, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. 

Lead internal sales project teams to develop winning proposals. 

Generate leads and craft win strategies for projects, keeping our partner's dynamic nature in mind. 

Develop and execute multi-year sales and marketing plans, aligned with our partner's objectives. 

Act as a mature sparring partner for decision-makers at VP level, understanding and exceeding their expectations. 

Drive global readiness programs and ensure a consistent approach across all regions. 

Conduct monthly and quarterly meetings with our partner to align on progress and mutual business plans. 

 

Your Department: 

 

All business with our partner is handled through our Business Unit Warehousing, with projects and services executed via our Customer Centers in North America and Germany. 

Our Global Sales team operates centrally, with a global reach, working closely with the Customer Centers. 

The Global Operations department comprises experienced professionals who understand both Vanderlande's ethos and our partner's expectations. 

Your colleagues bring expertise in sales, project execution, service, installation, technology, and supply chain management. 

 

Your Profile: 

 

  • Over 10 years of sales experience with. 

  • Customer obsession and a proactive approach to building long-term relationships. 

  • Strong team player and motivator who thrives in a cross-functional environment. 

  • Independent, self-reliant, and results-oriented mindset. 

  • Negotiation skills and ability to navigate different cultures. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. 

  • Global home base in Veghel with regular office presence required 

  • Willingness to travel (including to Seattle) up to 30% of the time.

This position offers a competitive salary range (excluding 8% holiday allowance).
