Together with the Sales Manager and other team members you will make an important contribution to the sales success in the pre-contract phase of a project. As a member of the sales team, your main tasks will be to identify customer needs and to design & evaluate the best value-added warehouse automation solution.
During the sales process, you will work on complex technical and business challenges, in which you are responsible for setting up and presenting the Warehouse solution. For the internal organisation you are the central key person on technical and concept specifications in relation to the project. Additionally, you will play an important role in the transfer of the project to the to the actual execution of the execution team.
The Customer Centre Warehouse Solutions International (CC WS INT) is active throughout the world. The Sales organization of WS INT is organized in 3 different market segments: Food, General Merchandise and Fashion.
In order to keep pace with the current and expected future growth, we are looking for a Sales Engineer in the General Merchandise and Fashion team. Your contribution will further increase the Vanderlande market coverage and successfully develop the General Merchandise and Fashion market segment.
- At least a Bachelor degree in industrial, mechanical or logistical engineering
- 2-5 years relevant working experience
- Analytical ability to structure and solve logistics problems
- Affinity for E-commerce and or Fashion segment(s) is a pré.
- Good command of English
- Willing to travel internationally (about 3 days a month)
