Job Overview: 

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Layout Engineer Intern to join our team in the material handling sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing efficient and effective layout solutions for our clients, helping to optimize their operations while driving sales growth. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer-focused sales strategies, and strong communication skills. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Layout Design: 

  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed layouts for material handling systems, including conveyors, racking systems, automated storage and retrieval systems, and other related equipment. 

  • Learn company CAD software (ESOT) 

  • Create Dynamic blocks 

  • Create AutoCAD dynamic blocks to utilize in layout operations. 

  • Sales Support: 

  • Collaborate with the sales team to create tailored proposals that highlight the benefits of proposed solutions, including operational improvements. 

  • Project Management: 

  • Coordinate with cross-functional team, including project managers, engineers to ensure successful implementation of designs and adherence to project timelines. 

  • Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Education: 

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or a related field). 

  • Experience: 

  • Technical Skills: 

  • Proficient in AutoCAD software, with the ability to create accurate and detailed layouts, specifically dynamic blocks. 

  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook 

  • Problem-Solving: 

  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to think critically to provide innovative solutions. 

  • Communication: 

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

  • Team Player: 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
