Sales Layout Engineer

What will you be doing?
Due to the tremendous growth of our Key Accounts we are looking for a Sales Layout Engineer to join our Sales Engineering department. Whilst working together with your colleagues in the Key Account Team, your challenge will be to develop the right system layouts for our customers and provide solutions that fit within the quoted system prices. Working in the sales phase of the project, where the ultimate solution is still being defined, requires creative thinking and a flexible layout to quickly and efficiently respond to our customer wishes and design changes.
Responsibilities
As Sales Layout Engineer you will play an independent role, taking the initiative in the sales engineering of new projects. You will be part of our Key Account Team, which consists of other specialists like Sales Engineers, Sales Consultants and Business Development Managers. Together you'll work on developing a winning system in terms of concept, technology and price. Your main focus will be the mechanical layout and functionality, whereby having a clear and visually attractive presentation for our customer is key to be successful.
Your department
Our Customer Centre (CC) WS INT focuses on the further development of the Warehousing market segment. CC WS INT currently operates worldwide, where it also supports our other CC’s and Branch Offices in terms of sales engineering and sales consultancy. In order to handle the present and anticipated future growth and to sustain this larger market coverage, we are now looking for a Sales Layout Engineer.
What do we ask from you?

Successfully completed education on higher vocational level in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering

Knowledge of AutoCAD is a pre

Good command of English

Excellent technical and spatial knowledge to assess the feasibility of a concept

Proven problem-solving ability to quickly reach the right solution

Able to handle several projects in parallel and swiftly respond to system changes

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 3600 to € 4600 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
