In this position, your challenge is to further establish Vanderlande’s position as a market leader in a very competitive market. In our Warehousing segment, you will be working for the world’s leading clients, helping them to further improve on their business.
What will you be doing
As a Sales Manager BNE (= Benelux, Nordics en Eastern Europe) you are always on top of the game. Creating business opportunities and gaining new projects is your top priority. You will be doing that by defining a winning strategy to conduct and execute market development actions. These actions are based on the strategy that you develop together with your colleagues. You gather relevant information on technical aspects and the bidding process. Together with your sales colleagues you are responsible for creating and executing the sales and marketing plan. You will prepare a spot on proposition which exceeds customers’ expectations by understanding your customer’s business, processes and values and anticipate on this.
Responsibilities

You influence the decision-making processes and build and maintain strong senior management relationships with the relevant DMU’s of our existing and potential customers

As Sales Manager BNE you coordinate the team during the complete sales cycle, from negotiating terms and conditions to a winning proposal, creating and selling value rather than price.

You have a solid understanding of the accounts business model and will align with Vanderlande’s strategy for the benefit of both parties. You steer from transactional business towards a mutually beneficial frame-work agreement, resulting in guaranteed repeated business.

Your entrepreneurial character enables you to involve the right internal- and external stakeholders, defining the best possible sales team, creating an optimum fit for each sales project. You also bring;

Bachelor or Master’s degree;

Multiple years of commercial working experience, preferably in a B2B environment;

Senior business acumen and a strong sales spirit;

You have a creative and efficient approach to building professional client relationships;

High analytical ability and a natural negotiator;

Willingness to travel internationally (>30%);

Ability to work within an international work environment and amongst different cultures;

Proven results in successfully delivering multimillion-euro projects;

Experience in Warehousing automation is preferred;

Excellent command of both the English and Dutch language.
Your Department
Warehousing International Sales Department focuses on 3 market segments: General Merchandise, Fashion and Food. In close cooperation with the Sales Engineering team, this department serves a large part of Europe and beyond. Highly contributing to Vanderlande’s growth and profitability.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 6100 to € 7900 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
