This role will suit somebody who is capable of collecting information and imparting it to others. The job occupant whilst being adaptable by nature, will need to ensure strict conformity with rules, systems and protocol. The area of work will have some administrative, specialist and technical aspects and the person fulfilling the role should have the persistence to see a job through to conclusion. The incumbent should be dependable, loyal, a good listener and enjoy working in a logical and systematic manner. Standard operating procedures are important aspects of this role and as such, if you are organised, structured, self- controlled and capable of communicating facts within the required area of knowledge and expertise as well as being consistent in approach, analytical, sensitive, precise and compliant then this role will suit you.

Ownership

Through the role as a SCADA Engineer you have or will gain an understanding in the following:

  • Planning and organizing SCADA and Controls Production
  • Producing SCADA Controls Design and Software Manage the Budget
  • Knowledge of Software scripting (e.g. C Script, VBA, C#)
  • Monitoring and reporting progress Develop the People
  • Ensuring SCADA designs meet Health and Safety standards
  • Ensuring SCADA design maintains VI standards where necessary

Project SCADA Technical Support where necessary.

Build Reputation With Customers

Create effective and good working relationships with all departments internally and externally to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded.

Ensure all requests are dealt with efficiently, ensuring colleagues and teams around you have everything required in order to carry out their duties.

Experience:

degree level candidate with a relevant qualification in control/computer engineering. The successful candidate will be :
