As Contracts Manager, you will:
- Have experience on major infrastructure works, ideally with some exposure to Airport or Construction projects to value of Euro 100-250 million +
- Have detailed experience working for a Project contracting organisation within a Contract Management role
- Preparation, negotiation and finalization of subcontract agreements, ability to liaise with technical staff to compile concise and accurate Scopes of Work – subcontract packages >20 Euro.
- Development and implementation of sound contract management processes for the project execution.
- Review of contract terms and risk identification of these terms, develop Rights and Obligations
- Claim management expert >Preparation and management of progress claims / variations / time-related claims up to 20 – 50 million i.e. EOT claim / reduction of scope claim
- Development and implementation of successful commercial strategies to ensure the Company is rightfully paid for works completed and costs incurred.
- Work with the project team and ensure contract compliant implementation of the contract works
- Prepare negotiations of claims and variations and support the PD during negotiations (APAC)
- Attend to contractual correspondence
- Support the team in identifying deviations from the plan
You will have:
- At least 7 years contracts management experience in the construction, mining and engineering industry.
- Strong interpersonal and motivational skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels throughout the organisation.
- Significant customer and supplier relationship management experience.
- Strong time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines.
- The ability to produce, disseminate and understand information in project environment.
- An attention to detail.

- Non project related contract review i.e. lease agreements, insurance contract renewals, etc.
Desirable:
- Previous site experience within the Construction and Engineering Industry.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is preferable.
- A basic understanding of Contract Law
- Construction project procurement experience.
- Scheduling experience.
- Strong negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution skill.
