The Role:
The R&D Mechanical Engineer is part of a multidisciplinary team who are responsible for developing and refining products and processes for use in the automated logistics industry. The R&D Mechanical Engineer is largely focused on mechanical design, but is also engaged in aspects of software, electrical, and electromechanical design. This role requires travel up to 10%, both domestically and internationally.
Core Job Functions Include:
- Concepting of mechanical parts and assemblies
- Detailed design of mechanical parts and assemblies
- Employing rapid prototyping techniques to produce functional parts
- Installation/assembly of test parts
- Testing and validation of parts/systems
- Occasional presence on site for support of new product pilots

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
