Your position 

Together with the Sales Manager and other team members you will make an important contribution to the sales success in the pre-contract phase of a project. As a member of the sales team your main tasks are to identify customer needs and to translate these into a winning technical solution / concept, which consists of the right balance between advanced technology and a competitive price. 

During the sales process, you will work on complex technical and business challenges, in which you are responsible for setting up and presenting the Warehouse solution. For the internal organisation you are the central key person on technical and concept specifications in relation to the project. Additionally, you will play an important role in the hand-over of the project to the execution team. 

 

Your department 

The Customer Centre Warehouse Solutions International (CC WS INT) is active throughout the world. The Sales organization of WS INT is organized in different market segments: Food / Parts & Components and General Merchandise & Fashion. 

In order to keep pace with the current and expected future growth, we are looking for a Sales Engineer in the Food/Parts & Components team. Your contribution will further increase the Vanderlande market coverage and successfully develop the Food/Parts & Components market segment. 

 

Your profile 

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant study (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electro-mechanical Engineering, Logistical engineering or similar discipline) 

  • At least 2 years relevant working experience 

  • Good listener and communicator, creative and driven to win 

  • Team player 

  • Pro-active 

  • Analytical ability to structure and solve logistic problems 

  • Good command of English 

  • Willing to travel internationally (about 4 days a month) 

 

What we offer​  

This position offers a competitive salary range of 4.100 to € 6252 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
