Your department
Vanderlande’s warehousing solutions are the first choice for major e-commerce players across the globe, helping them to fulfil their promise of same-day delivery for billions of orders. In addition, 9 of the 15 largest global food retailers rely on Vanderlande’s efficient and reliable solutions. Our airport’s baggage handling systems are installed in over 600 airports around the globe.
All those systems generate data, and the Digital Service Factory department is leading the company digital transformation, developing data-driven services to provide advanced insights for our customers. You will work on using data for Predictive Maintenance, together with a team of data scientists, data engineers, developers and UX designers.
Your position
As a Senior Software Developer you will fulfill a central position for the effective delivery of our Predictive Maintenance solutions.
Vanderlande has a wide portfolio of solutions, which brings a lot of opportunities in collecting data and deploying predictive solutions, but also challenges related to creating software products with re-usable software components to reduce development and deployment time.
You will be the connection between the Product Owners and the teams, and will support in translating business requirements and applications in a coherent architecture and implementation that allows re-using code and models across multiple products and solutions. You will be working in multi-disciplinary agile teams, co-located in the Netherlands and India. You will take part in the department’s architecture guild, and work closely with our department solution architect (amongst others).
Through predictive solutions, the Digital Service Factory aims at optimizing customers’ assets usage and maintenance, impacting their performance, cost and sustainability KPIs by expanding the lifetime of the components.
