About the Role

As a Technical Trainer at Vanderlande, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering and developing cutting-edge, hands-on maintenance training for our global teams and customers. You’ll leverage the latest in learning technology—think e-learning, augmented reality, and interactive simulations—to create engaging, practical courses that make a real impact. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the shop floor, or through digital platforms, you’ll inspire engineers and technicians to master the skills needed to build, operate, and maintain our advanced automated systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve technical training programs for all Vanderlande domains (Airports, Warehousing, Distribution, and more), with a strong focus on hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Embrace and implement innovative learning technologies—from digital platforms to AR/VR—to enhance the learning experience and drive knowledge retention.
  • Collaborate globally with Technology, engineering, project teams, and service operations to ensure training content is always up-to-date and relevant.
  • Assess and support knowledge levels within our Customer Service Centres and internal teams, proactively identifying training needs and opportunities.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and adapt your approach to maximize impact for diverse audiences.

What You Bring

  • A technical background (HTS, PTH, or equivalent), preferably in IT, electrical, or electronic engineering.
  • Experience in technical training, ideally with digitalization (e-learning, AR/VR, etc.) and hands-on maintenance in automated industrial systems.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for making complex topics accessible and engaging.
  • A results-driven, innovative mindset, eager to experiment with new teaching methods and technologies.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 35% of your time).

Why Vanderlande?

  • Be part of a dynamic, international team dedicated to continuous learning and innovation.
  • Enjoy a flexible, supportive work environment with plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth.
  • Benefit from a competitive salary, generous vacation days, and excellent secondary conditions (including pension and insurance discounts).
  • Make a real difference by equipping colleagues and customers with the skills to succeed in a rapidly evolving industry.
