As a Service Sales Consultant in our Service Excellence team, you play a crucial role in shaping the future of lifecycle services for Airports & Parcel across Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. Your work directly impacts how we support customers and continuously strengthen our global service offerings.
You are the key link between our customers and our service solutions, helping them optimize performance and plan for the future. Through clear, strategic advice, you show them how our service proposition can enhance their operations—today and tomorrow. To do this, you will need a deep understanding of our services and the ability to tailor solutions that fit each customer’s unique needs.
Our service offerings range from support services, where we provide on-demand (remote) support and professional assistance, to performance-driven services, where we establish KPI-based service contracts focusing on guaranteed results and predictable operations. In this position, you will focus on Operation, Maintenance, and IT-related lifecycle services for our Baggage (Airports) and Material Handling Systems (Parcel).
Your responsibilities
As a Service Sales Consultant, you play a key role in developing winning service concepts that enhance customer operations. You will:
- Lead customer discussions and guide them toward the best service solutions and coach the sales team towards a winning concept that strikes a balance between performance, cost and risk.
- Apply best practices and service proposition standards in sales strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales, Service Management, and Service Solution Management to improve service offerings considering all relevant business aspects.
Your profile
- You have a technical or logistics education, at least Bachelor level, with a minimum of 3 years of working experience, preferably in a commercial and service-related role.
- Highly commercially aware, with the ability to identify market opportunities, manage risks, and pursue profitable service solutions.
- Able to develop and roll out a service proposition at a conceptual level, while effectively convincing internal stakeholders of its value and benefits.
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills to assess data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions that improve service offerings and customer outcomes.
- This is a full-time job, and we expect that you are willing to travel internationally (up to 5-10% of your time).
What we offer
This position offers a competitive salary range of €4.650,00 to €5.600,00 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale. On top of your fixed salary you’ll receive the following secondary benefits:
