We are a market-leading, global partner for future-proof logistic process automation. Our company specializes in Airport, Warehousing, and Parcel solutions. We offer an extensive portfolio of integrated automation solutions, including innovative systems, intelligent software, and life-cycle services, ensuring fast, reliable, and efficient automation technology.
Department and position
Lifecycle services account for around 30% of our business volume and play an important role within Vanderlande. Our service organization consists of more than 2000 employees worldwide who work together every day to ensure that all our customers worldwide can improve their business.
Our Service Excellence department, which acts within our Customer Center, focuses on the Lifecycle Service development of the Airports & Parcel segments throughout the region; Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America, and has a supporting function to other Customer Centers globally. Our department covers multiple disciplines such as Asset & Logistics Management, IT & Digital, and Sales Concepting & Engineering.
To support our anticipated growth and future success, we are seeking a Service Sales Consultant to strengthen our sales team. In this position, you are responsible for advising and informing customers in a clear and concise manner on how our service proposition can support their current and future operations. This requires an in-depth understanding of our Service Proposition and the ability to identify how it can be tailored to fit our customers' requirements.
During service sales trajectories, you will lead customer discussions and coach the sales team towards a winning service concept that strikes a balance between performance, cost, and risk. You will guide the team in using best practices and service proposition standards. Furthermore, you will work closely with other departments (Sales, Service Management, and Service Solution Management) to continuously update and improve service offerings, considering all relevant business aspects. This is of key importance as we believe understanding our customers and delivering the right solutions is crucial to maintaining our market-leading position for airports and further building our position in the parcel market. Services play a vital role here, as our service teams are key for customer intimacy. Our service offerings range from support services, where we provide on-demand (remote) support and professional assistance, to performance-driven services, where we establish KPI-based service contracts focusing on guaranteed results and predictable operations. In this position, you will focus on Operation, Maintenance, and IT-related lifecycle services for our Baggage (Airports) and Material Handling Systems (Parcel).
