Your position.

Working at one of Australia’s most Advanced Picking Solution sites, located in Yennora, Sydney, the Service Technician will be performing Maintenance and Operational duties as instructed/directed including any reactive calls on our Automated Material Handling System to ensure productivity and output, asset availability, health & safety compliance, service quality, and team working is optimized in accordance with agreed timescales.

You will work within your assigned shift pattern on a range of tasks involving electrical, instrument, mechanical, and control systems, including the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of all Vanderlande equipment on site.

Responsibilities

  • A degree, diploma, or certificate in mechanical engineering and/or electrical engineering, or a related technical field is required.
  • Ability to serve as a technical contact during incidents for requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Network solutions & PLC control systems (Desirable)
  • Experience in service activities on automated materials handling systems a distinct advantage
  • Methodical approach to the required workflows
  • Flexible attitude to shift work.
  • ASRS Experience beneficial.
