Service Technician in Eskilstuna at Vanderlande

What will you do? 

Together with your team of Service Technicians, you are primarily responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance work on the advanced system. You work together with the customer to keep the process running in case of malfunctions. 

Responsibilities 

The role of Service Technician includes the following core tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Maintenance Work: performing periodic and preventive maintenance in collaboration with your colleagues from the Maintenance Team. 

  • Resolving Malfunctions: Addressing mechanical, electrical, and control system malfunctions. 

  • System Monitoring: Monitoring the system using various monitoring and reporting applications. 

  • Administrative Tasks: Ensuring proper administrative handling. 

What do we ask of you? 

  • As a service/maintenance technician, you make a significant contribution to customer satisfaction, with the continuity of the customer process being central. Therefore, you have an enthusiastic and proactive attitude and are flexibly deployable. 

  • Shift Work: Working in a 3-shift system

 You possess the following qualifications and skills: 

  • Minimum Bachelor level in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Control Engineering. 

  • Experience with mechanical and/or electrical maintenance work. 

  • Willing to work night shifts in a 3-shift system. 

  • Affinity with control technology (PLC experience is a plus). 

  • Knowledge of or affinity with SCADA is a plus. 

  • Enthusiastic, precise, and independent working method. 

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
