Your tasks and responsibilities
You will work with several development teams (scrum, microservices) as the representative of our software infrastructure platform. You task will be to become an expert about our platform and especially how to use it and explain/show this the development teams. You will spent most of the time within the development teams, to explain/train/show them how to use our platform, but in the same moment, you should be open minded to understand and categorize if there are new findings or issues and steer the feedback channel in our platform development team.
Your qualifications and skills
You have a bachelor or master degree in computer science or an comparable science
You have at least 3 years of working experience in a similar role within an international environment
Extensive Kubernetes platform knowledge (operator pattern, cluster architecture, observability, metrics and dashboarding)
You have a strong knowledge about the road to production with a proven CI/CD record (using technologies e.g. Tekton/Jenkins, Spinnaker, Gitlab CI)
Knowledge of Zero – Trust Networks
You are familiar with public cloud providers, ideally Azure (e.g. AKS)
Lovin’ (sync & async) APIs and service meshes (e.g. Istio)
You are hands-on and passionate about high-performing software developed in a fast-pace environment with lean / agile methologies
You are able to create the bridge between development and operations by applying a software engineering mindset to system administration topics
Your mindset in open sourced instead of private sources and you love it to communicate with people and explain them details
