What will you be doing?
As a Sourcing Controller at Vanderlande, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations through data-driven decision-making, cost optimization, supplier relationship management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement efforts. This role requires a strong background in supply chain management, data analytics, and a deep understanding of NEVI principles.
Responsibilities:
Data-Driven Decision-Making:

Lead the utilization of data analytics and performance metrics to make informed decisions.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supplier performance, cost trends, and procurement efficiency (# PO, Price Difference, One-time right, etc.).

Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive strategic decisions.
Cost Optimization & Savings:

Identify cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain.

Establish cost benchmarks and monitor performance against these benchmarks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.
Supplier Relationship Management:

Participate in setting up a supplier framework tool to effectively manage contracts.

Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.

Monitor process adherence and the effectiveness of strategy roll-out.

Foster strong relationships with key suppliers.
Risk Management:

Focus on reducing risks associated with supply chain dependencies, geopolitical factors, and market influences.

Set up and maintain a Kraljic matrix to categorize suppliers and prioritize risk mitigation efforts.

Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks and ensure supply chain resilience.
Continuous Improvement:

Act as an accelerator in driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Identify areas where efficiencies can be enhanced and waste can be reduced in the supply chain.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
What do we ask from you?

University degree in Supply Chain Management with NEVI education strongly preferred.

Proven experience in data analysis and data-driven decision-making within a supply chain context.

Knowledge of key supply chain KPIs and performance metrics.

Familiarity with cost optimization strategies and tools.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective supplier relationship management.

Ability to assess and mitigate supply chain risks.

Continuous improvement mindset with a strong focus on efficiency and waste reduction.

Proficiency in relevant software and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, data visualization tools

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 5300,- to € 6800,- gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
