What will you be doing?

As a Sourcing Controller at Vanderlande, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations through data-driven decision-making, cost optimization, supplier relationship management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement efforts. This role requires a strong background in supply chain management, data analytics, and a deep understanding of NEVI principles.

Responsibilities:

Data-Driven Decision-Making:

• Lead the utilization of data analytics and performance metrics to make informed decisions.

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supplier performance, cost trends, and procurement efficiency (# PO, Price Difference, One-time right, etc.).

• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive strategic decisions.

Cost Optimization & Savings:

• Identify cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain.

• Establish cost benchmarks and monitor performance against these benchmarks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.

Supplier Relationship Management:

• Participate in setting up a supplier framework tool to effectively manage contracts.

• Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.

• Monitor process adherence and the effectiveness of strategy roll-out.

• Foster strong relationships with key suppliers.

Risk Management:

• Focus on reducing risks associated with supply chain dependencies, geopolitical factors, and market influences.

• Set up and maintain a Kraljic matrix to categorize suppliers and prioritize risk mitigation efforts.

• Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks and ensure supply chain resilience.

Continuous Improvement:

• Act as an accelerator in driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Identify areas where efficiencies can be enhanced and waste can be reduced in the supply chain.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.

What do we ask from you?

• University degree in Supply Chain Management with NEVI education strongly preferred.

• Proven experience in data analysis and data-driven decision-making within a supply chain context.

• Knowledge of key supply chain KPIs and performance metrics.

• Familiarity with cost optimization strategies and tools.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective supplier relationship management.

• Ability to assess and mitigate supply chain risks.

• Continuous improvement mindset with a strong focus on efficiency and waste reduction.

• Proficiency in relevant software and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, data visualization tools

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 5300,- to € 6800,- gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
