Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Main point of contact for customers and job sites for spare part requests
  • Provide customer with information, such as pricing, part availability, tracking information and/or general information about their orders
  • Research parts/OEMs to obtain best pricing
  • Provide customer with documentation about their system and/or assets 
  • Ability to work with multiple customers at one time while maintaining individual customer satisfaction
  • Grow spare parts sales with existing assigned customer base
  • Ensure timely close out of orders for monthly billing, including amending freight lines and receipts of purchase orders
  • Process customer orders in JDE E1 and issue purchase orders to suppliers and/or warehouse
  • Process Webshop orders and guide customers to use Webshop
  • Manage logistics process from order to delivery
  • Coordinate international shipments with corporate office
  • Create commercial invoices and documentation for exporting
  • Creation and execution of recommended spares lists
  • Control transportation costs on inbound and outbound orders
  • Monitor current trends in supplier performance on cost and lead times
  • Assist customers with identification of parts
  • Engage with Engineering with part identification/questions
  • Provide warranty part support for projects and site-based service

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Management or equivalent (preferred)
  • Knowledge of material handling parts (preferred)
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards or similar ERP system
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with international shipments, imports and exports
