We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Supply Chain Demand Planner to join our dynamic team. As a demand planner, you will play a pivotal role in managing the customer/consumer demand signals by which the organization aligns supply chain and company resources. Your primary responsibility will be to develop a consolidated demand pipeline utilizing data insights from multiple teams to improve forecast accuracy.  


Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities): 

  • Establish a frequent cadence with sales to stay informed on market culture and plans, as related to our product portfolio 

  • Define a process with Sales, Business Development Mangers and Finance to gather insights to upcoming forecasted demand through a collaborative, consensus driven process that optimizes the balance between market opportunity and supply network capability 

  • Update a detailed demand forecast dashboard with rolling volume forecasts (with ranges and key assumptions), and facilitates alignment with interdepartmental functions 

  • Addresses key risks for supply execution during sales planning to ensure clearly defined data sets for hand over to supply planning for capacity and resource planning  

  • Seek information from multiple internal customers to ensure Supply Chain is informed in all required criterion for seamless handover from Planning to Execution  

  • Take part in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, contributing to special projects and other supply chain and business strategy initiatives 

  • Prepare high level supply plans, during the sales phase, for all ‘Must Plan’ projects 

  • Provide baseline supply leadtimes and delivery commitments utilizing preliminary project planning and historical operational data  

  • Broad knowledge and relationships across different parts of the organization: commercial, sales, marketing, product development, finance and manufacturing 


Required Education and Experience:  

  • BS, BA or similar degree  


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 2-3 years Supply Chain experience, or equivalent  

  • Knowledge/experience with Power BI, SmartSheets or equivalents for data presentation  

  • Proven analysis and presentation skills including use of common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 

  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic professional with excellent written and oral communication skills 

  • Strategic "out of box" thinker with excellent problem solving and analytical skills 

  • Ability to engage a cross-functional team towards a desired outcome 

  • Ability to organize and plan use of time and people effectively and efficiently 

  • Proactive team player with an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Extensive knowledge MS Office 

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment and mechanically inclined is a plus 



Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: 

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.  



This position will require very limited (if any) travel for continuous education, training and development.
